Lots of Fun Doubles Matches
The annual fundraiser was a success.
There were12 doubles teams battling it out:
Brisbane Table Tennis supports the fundraising efforts of Queensland Treasury, the Ping-Pong-a-Thon and the International Justice Mission. The cause is dedicated to combatting slavery and human trafficking in Asia.
Ping Pong-A-Thon is a project of P4T Inc, a registered Australian charity with PBI status. The Pong campaign supports the work of several organisations based in Asia who are helping young people whose lives are significantly impacted by human trafficking and exploitation.
Competitors from across Brisbane participated.
With players representing many of the big law firms and Government agencies. There were lots of players; many teams from law firms and several teams from the Queensland Government.
In all the Ping-Pong-A-Thon this year raised $13,123.
Clayton Utz alone raised more than $3,000.
