Local Table Tennis Aces are in the Running for Top Queensland Sporting Honour
Two local table tennis players from the
Brisbane Table Tennis club located in Windsor are vying for a top sports award.
The Sport Star of the Year Award recognises and celebrates sporting talent.
Now in its twenty-second year, the Sports Federation of Queensland showcases the best sportspeople, volunteers, administrators, officiators, coaches and event in sport.
This year Queensland's top junior Table Tennis players are vying for the state's most prestigious sporting honour.
The team was nominated after bringing home the gold medal from the National Table Tennis Championships which were held in Alice Springs earlier this year.
Brisbane Table Tennis members, Benjamin Gould and Mateo Dvorani, were part of the Queensland Under 18 Boys Table Tennis Team Brisbane Club members who together with Jake Duffy and Fred Xu are finalists in the Queensland Junior Sport Team of the Year.
Winners will be announced on Thursday December 8th in the Plaza Ballroom, Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre.
