As well as the top players we anticipate lots of participation with entries from clubs around Australia.
Brisbane Open Begins A New Era with Refurnished StadiumThe Brisbane Open this August ushers in a new ear for Table Tennis in South East Queensland.
Stage 2 of the refurbishment of the Table Tennis Centre sees the installation a new lift, better lighting and major reno of the bathrooms.
The centre futures 18 competition courts and 9 practice courts.
The new lighting ensures the light levels are of an international standard. And the new life and bathroom renovations mean that the facility is wheelchair friendly.
"We are excited to host wheelchair and para-events for the first time at the Brisbane Open due to our major refurbishment of the centre," said Peter Lander, President of Brisbane Table Tennis Association.
