Players with a Disability
Brisbane Table Tennis is a fully wheelchair-accessible venue, with state-of-the-art lighting, flooring surface, competition tables and high-quality rackets.
Why Try Table Tennis?
Table tennis is one of the most inclusive and accessible sports, offering meaningful physical and mental benefits for people of all abilities. Whether you’re navigating a physical disability, use a wheelchair, or are looking for a low-impact way to stay active, table tennis can be adapted to suit your needs. The sport improves coordination, reflexes, and upper body movement while remaining gentle on joints and muscles. Mentally, it’s a fast, focused game that keeps the brain engaged—supporting concentration, memory, and decision-making. Most importantly, it’s fun, social, and easy to start. No matter your experience or mobility level, there’s a place for you at the table. Come give it a go—you might surprise yourself.
Para Coaching
Our coaching staff have comprehensive experience working with students with a large range of disabilities, and we have multiple club members who have seen great success in the Para space through training in our club. The beauty of table tennis is that it is quite an even playing field and those with a disability can still compete at the highest level! We will be able to guide you through the process of getting started in the sport and quickly getting you to a level where your disability won’t hold you back. Please contact us for more information.
