COACHING

Junior Excellence

Welcome to the renowned Brisbane Table Tennis junior training program, home to Queensland’s largest junior playing pool! Our club operates 7 days a week, with a diverse range of programs catered for success at all ages and skill levels.

Many of our players have worked hard in a motivating environment to become National champions, while others play and train socially with a love for a lifelong sport.

With a well crafted mixture of focus, fitness, fun and friendships – every Junior player can achieve their goals right here, with individualised care along every step of the journey.

Getting Started!
Reach out to receive a free player consultation for your junior player! We’ll find a time for you to visit our facility to learn more about our offerings and allow us to get to know you. Our team will conduct a brief evaluation to assess your child’s reflexes, hand-eye coordination and balance, so we can recommend the best pathway program for you! If you have any questions, or an existing player looking to build your Term 4 schedule, you can contact our Junior Development Officer Gio directly on 0467895252.

Training Schedule

We have developed our new schedule to offer a flexible yet intensive set of options for our players.

Now opening from 3:00PM on weekdays, players are now encouraged to come in early and stay later around their coaching session to do more training and socialise among each other for no extra charge (pending table availability).

Brisbane Table Tennis strongly encourages students looking for sustainable but fast improvement to attend coaching sessions at least two times a week and play a competition at least once a week (including beginners – it’s never too early to start playing matches!). This is a good ratio of time investment for staying motivated while improving skillsets.

Coming once a week is suitable for those whose goal is mainly fun or fitness. We have a casual session fee of $35 (no direct debit subscription available) for those coming once a week.

PRICING

As a not-for-profit club, we have thought carefully about pricing for our group coaching that is fair for students, but ensures we can deliver a sustainable program of the highest quality, while paying our expert coaches a good wage. Please see below for Term 4 2025 pricing, with subscriptions available via direct debit (or paying upfront for the term if you prefer).

Please note:
Financial Accessibility: Table tennis should be accessible to everyone, regardless of their background. If your family requires financial assistance, please speak with us privately. We are committed to finding a flexible and confidential solution that ensures your child can continue to be a valued part of our community.
Phasing out Punch Cards: From Term 4, prepaid punch cards will no longer be available for the junior program (still available for adults). If you have an existing card with credit, please bring it to us. We will “trade it in” by applying the full remaining value as a discount to your Term 4 direct debit fees.
QLD Play On Vouchers: We accept the $200 QLD Government PlayOn Vouchers towards junior coaching.
Direct Debit Flexibility: We are introducing this system to simplify things as our program grows. We are not a big gym with rigid contracts; if you’re going on holiday, need to take a break, or want to cancel, just talk to us. We promise to be flexible and fair.
Makeup Sessions: If your child misses a session:
1. They are welcome to attend another Junior Squad session during that same week.
2. If you can’t make another session that week, please contact us. We will reserve a maximum of 3 makeup credits per term, which can be applied as a discount to the following term’s fees.
3. If the session missed is a scheduled ‘pod’ session, you cannot receive a makeup ‘pod’ session, and will instead join a makeup group session.
