Get Social With It!
Don’t know where to start or what to join? That’s okay! Read on and see what might be the best match for you. All standards of player are welcome from complete beginners through to more experienced participants. There is no need to book, so just come along and get started. New players are always welcome to join at any time, no need to be a member.
Saturday
Top of the Table
Our Saturday Top of the Table is our most popular social play and a great casual competition where all skill levels get to battle it out! This is hosted every Saturday afternoon.
Novice players will be initially placed on the ‘topmost’ tables, with the best players on the ‘bottom’ tables. Play a timed round of a single game to prove yourself!
Win a match and go up a table, but lose and you go down a table. Players who keep winning face tougher and tougher opponents up to the top table.
Arrive after 2:00pm for a strict 2:30pm start. Comp finishes at 4:00pm, stick around until 5:00pm for casual play.

Social Play
Want to socialise, have fun and stay fit in a friendly environment?
Regular Social Play takes place in the hall 7 days a week during our opening hours – just rock up!
Our highly popular social groups run during the mornings, and 2 days a week players are organised into Doubles groups with breaks for some biscuits, tea and a laugh. Pricing below.
Social Doubles – Tues & Thurs, 9:30AM to 11:30PM
Random table allocations for 15-20 minute games lets you play with lots of people over the morning. With morning tea included, take your time and have a chat! A great way to get to see friends, new or old, and stay fit whilst you do it.
Casual
Table Hire
Coming to play with some mates? Feel free to come in and hire a table for a casual session whenever the centre is open! Bats & balls included.
BTTA can get pretty busy during our peak times! Even though we have 27 tables permanently open, our coaching and competitive events take priority.
We don’ t offer a booking system, but there are generally tables free to hire during our opening hours! We cannot guarantee availability, so tables are first in best dressed – we recommend getting in early after we open.

Please note our coaching and events can sometimes get busy, and there may not always be a table available. Bats and balls included in all entry fees.

Off-Peak Bundles For Regular Players
For our early birds who want to come play in the morning, you can pay per session ($15) or see below for our unlimited play options! Annual subscription includes Social Membership cost (required by TTA and TTQ). Our Tuesday/Thursday morning Social Doubles also includes morning tea supplied!
Costs are Pro Rata’d at the start of each month. Direct Debit options available for fortnightly billing. For morning social players who bought a bundle in 2025, please see our staff for your exclusive legacy rates for 2026.
Off-Peak times that these bundles cover for 2026 are 9AM – 3:30PM MON-FRI, 11:30AM – 2PM SAT and 2PM – 5PM SUN (subject to change).
